This installation became the focus of my second scholarship to Pilchuck Glass School in 2013. Ever since my first visit in 2001, when I first started making these forms I had wanted to do an installation with them.  My first opportunity was in 2003 with 'Restore Our Fortunes' in Canberra where I installed them on a bed of scorched earth. Some years later I had the idea to do this kind of hanging installation but did not get the opportunity to actually try it out until some years later. Pilchuck became the ideal place for me to test this idea, and I sought permission to install this work temporarily on the verandah of 'the lodge'. The work was transported back to Australia where it remains available for permanent installation.
